Houseguest spinning cotton shadows
in corners of my mind

Grey cat, green eyes, chameleon 
deflated in her paw


Washing Dishes

Dirty baptismal waters swirl:
the drain of forgiveness


Cypress Trees

Bell-bottomed dancers paint the sky, 
birds at their fingertips
